How many practices are there?

There are 6 practices over a 12-week period. Division 1 (grades 3-6) practices are 1 hour long while Division 2 (grades 7-10) practices are 1.5 hours long.

Can I watch the practices?

Spectators are not permitted at this time, but this policy might change as restrictions ease. Please wait in your car for 10 minutes before leaving just in case your child's temperature is outside of our acceptable range.

When does the season start and end?

Practices for Cohort 1 will begin on April 9th, and practices for Cohort 2 begin on April 16th. These groups will alternate weeks until early July.

How will you keep my family safe?

We will be following strict Covid-19 guidelines as set by the Medical Officer of Health and Servus Place. Parents are instructed to complete a self-assessment before coming to practice to ensure the players are not a health risk, and temperatures will be taken as players enter the practice. Players are required to maintain a distance of 2 meters from others and wear a mask when they are not on the court.

What are the restrictions to attending practice?

Parents must complete an assessment of their child's health (provided by the league) to ensure that they are not at risk of Covid-19, and players have their temperatures taken at the beginning of practice.

What if we enter another lock-down during the season?

We are currently discussing the fairest way to reimburse our members while still being able to honour our financial obligations. We will keep you posted!
